Hi, I’m Amy Spears — an illustrator, graphic designer, and the creative force behind Yellow Birds Design Studio, a small (but mighty) stationery shop based in Kansas City, Missouri.I make whimsical, heartfelt paper goods: cards with meaning, prints that tell little stories, and designs that spark connection. Everything I create is made to brighten someone’s day, mark a meaningful moment, or simply say what matters most.

After 20 years of design experience in the field of marketing, I opened Yellow Birds Design in 2024 with the hope of turning small, meaningful moments into lasting keepsakes. My work is rooted in storytelling and inspired by everyday magic, quiet joys, and the people we hold close. Whether it’s a card, print, or calendar, every design is created to brighten someone’s day and say something that matters.
